The airline company Lufthansa took possession of its fourteenth and last Airbus A380, while the last of the already ordered 19 Boeings 747-8I is expected shortly.
The fourth Airbus A380 of the German national carrier MSN177, tail-numbered D-AIMN, joined the fleet on April 10th, 2015; it is not yet in service. This is the last European super-jumbo expected by Lufthansa: it had originally ordered five A380s in 2001.

Lufthansa is expected to finish redeveloping its A380 by the summer with new Premium class, they will accommodate 8 passengers in First, 92 in Business Class, 52 in Premium and 336 in Economy (total 488 seats, against 526 in 8 + 90 + 420 initially). It was the second airline company in Europe to put it into service in May 2010, eight months after Air France.
